Natural environment in Kahnawake

Text workouts in Kahnawake

Career description:

Located on the south shore of Montreal, Kahnawake's quarry was formerly known as The Bédard Quarry, because of the name of its former owner.
It was re-opened for scuba diving in June 2009 for certifications and certain activities of the Total Diving boutique in Montreal.

At a depth of 35 feet, the quarry has a multitude of trees present before it is flooded. The soil is lined with algae (short) where pike and bass are found.

An imposing platform has been installed mainly for training purposes.

Visibility is often excellent for a freshwater site, between 30 and 80 feet.

During the summer, the site is open from 4 p.m. to dark on Tuesdays.
It is also open all day on Saturday (9am in the dark) and Sunday (9am to 5pm)
